A deep blue oil with a sweet, slightly spicy scent with a fruity undertone. The oil is derived from the flowers of true chamomile. In a diffuser, blue chamomile can be used for headaches and insomnia, especially in combination with lavender. But blue chamomile's greatest strength is on the skin. It is the ideal skin care product due to the presence of bisabolol and chamazulene.

It is one of the most reliable anti-inflammatory oils in aromatherapy and can be used for dermatitis, eczema, inflamed skin and (burn) wounds. When used on the skin, the essential oil should be mixed with a massage oil or fatty vegetable oil.
