A plant of great significance in European mythology: symbol of baptism and a sign of innocence. Hyssop oil has a spicy scent with a sweet, camphoraceous undertone. When diffused, hyssop oil is known to clear the mind and support prolonged concentration. The oil has a warming effect during colds and flu.

On the skin, hyssop oil helps heal wounds and associated symptoms of eczema (soothes irritation from scratching). Hyssop is a good rubbing oil for arthritis complaints. When used on the skin, you should always mix the essential oil with a massage or fatty vegetable oil.
