Hazelnut is a delicious nut oil, cold-pressed from unroasted hazelnuts. The nuts have a fat content of 40%. This means that approximately 2.5 kg of nuts are needed for 1 litre of oil.

Hazelnut oil leaves a light nutty scent on the skin which most people love! This oil is similar in composition to almond oil but is better absorbed by the skin. Hazelnut oil can also be used internally and is delicious as a salad dressing. Tasty and healthy because hazelnut oil contains vitamins A, B and E and the minerals zinc, magnesium and calcium. The vitamin E in this oil protects the skin against free radicals and UV rays.

Storage advice
The shelf life of cold-pressed hazelnut oil is 8 months. It is therefore best to store the oil in the refrigerator. People with a nut allergy can first test the oil by massaging a drop onto the inside of their elbow.
