About cedar oil
Cedar oil has a warm, enveloping scent that helps with stress and can bring more balance. The oil has a golden-brown color and is extracted from the heartwood of the Cedrus atlantica. The cedar tree must be at least 20 years old before oil can be extracted from it.
There are 4 types of cedar, and it is remarkable that the Atlas cedar was already mentioned in the Bible. Solomon's famous temple is said to have been built of cedar wood. Cigar boxes are still often made of cedar wood. Cedar is highly sought after for this purpose, because the essential oil gives the wood a wonderful scent. In the perfume industry, cedar oil is widely used in men's perfumes.

Usage
Recommended use of cedar oil Cedar atlas has a warm, sweet woody scent. In the diffuser, this oil can be combined well with other sweet oils such as jasmine, neroli, and ylang-ylang. Try 2 drops of orange with 2 drops of cedar and 1 drop of patchouli in the diffuser! You can, of course, use this oil all day, but cedar is a wonderful oil to dream away with. The oil is therefore perfect to use after a long day when you're relaxing on the couch in the evening. In the ultrasonic diffuser: the nose determines the number of drops, on average between 5 and 20 drops on the water in the diffuser. In the Aroma Inhaler: drip 20 drops onto the cotton stick. On the scent stone: Use 5 to 10 drops for using the stone in the toilet, wardrobe, or on the nightstand. On the skin: On the skin, cedar is mainly used for oily skin. In combination with a fatty plant oil, cedar supports the skin's restorative capacity. For safe use, mix an essential oil with a fatty plant oil as a base. For a relaxing massage oil, use 10-15 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of base oil (for example, Aromassage Basic). In the bath: Especially after a long day, cedar is wonderful in the bath for a moment to come to yourself. Essential oils are never used purely in (bath)water, because the essential oil floats on the water. If the oil floats on the water, the skin comes into direct contact with the oil, which can cause skin irritation. It is therefore important to use the oil with the help of an emulsifier in the bathwater. For safe use of essential oils in the bath, use a maximum of 10 drops of essential oil in 10 ml of bath foam, emulsifier, or hydrophilic oil for a full bath. Safety In aromatherapy, dosage is the key to success and 'less is more'. Adhere to the above dosages and to the following warning: Cedar during pregnancy should only be used externally in a percentage of up to 2%. For babies and young children up to 3 years old, in a percentage of up to 0.5%.
