Organic CO2 extract from the orange flower heads of the marigold.

The scent of a CO2 extract is the most refined of all and resembles that of the fresh plant! Due to the pressure, in addition to the scent, the pigment and any resins are also extracted from the plant, which is why a CO2 extract is sometimes thicker or even solid in form. In that case, carefully and slowly warm the bottle in hot water or a bain-marie before use.

Usage
Although the word 'aroma' indicates that the scent of the oils is inhaled, many organic essential oils can be ingested as a flavouring. Did you know that essential oils are even permitted flavourings in the food industry? Many of our organic essential oils are particularly suitable for use in the kitchen, however some oils are added to food products in very low doses, and this oil, Calendula CO2 extract, is one of them. For safety, use a maximum of: 1 drop per litre of liquid or per kilogram of food.
