It is a solvent for linseed oil.

Harmful if swallowed.
May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
Harmful in contact with skin.
Causes skin irritation.
May cause an allergic skin reaction.
Causes serious eye irritation.
Harmful if inhaled.
Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames or hot surfaces.
No smoking.
In case of contact with skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
Rinse skin with water.
In case of contact with eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
