CellCare Antioxidant essentialsAntioxidants play an important role in neutralising free radicals. Free radicals are substances that are naturally produced during energy production in our cells. Normally, a healthy body is well able to scavenge these free radicals with the help of antioxidants.
However, with our current diet and lifestyle, we are exposed to many more harmful substances, for example, through the air, our food, drinking water, and cosmetics. In addition, one may also have a genetic predisposition to reduced antioxidant production. This increases the burden of free radicals in the body and decreases the amount of antioxidants, resulting in oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress is associated, among other things, with accelerated tissue aging, cell damage, and energy deficiencies, and forms the basis for chronic degenerative diseases.

Usage
Take 1 to 2 tablets daily with a meal with water or juice, unless otherwise advised by a doctor or therapist. Consult an expert if pregnant (or planning to be) or breastfeeding. Ginkgo biloba may affect the action of anticoagulants. Do not use in case of bile duct disorders.
