Cellacare Rhizocast Classic is an orthosis for two-way immobilization of the wrist and thumb. The orthosis provides immobilization of the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb.

Use
Orthosis for immobilizing the wrist and thumb. Indications - immobilization in post-traumatic or post-operative conditions of the wrist, the basal and/or saddle joint of the thumb, and in ulnar collateral ligament injuries ("skier's thumb") - immobilization in degenerative changes of the wrist and the basal and/or saddle joint of the thumb (scapho-trapeziotrapezoid osteoarthritis, rhizarthrosis) - immobilization in inflammatory conditions of the tendon apparatus of the hand (tendovaginitis) - immobilization in incipient carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)
