Discovered a tick? Remove it safely and easily with the Care Plus® Tick-Remover.

Always check yourself and each other for tick bites after spending time in nature. Ticks feed on the blood of humans and animals. They often look for warm spots, so check carefully behind ears, in knee and elbow creases, under armpits, and in the gluteal cleft. If you find a tick, removing it correctly is very important. Do this as soon as possible to prevent possible contamination with the Borrelia bacterium (which causes Lyme disease).

You can easily remove a tick with the Care Plus® Tick Remover. With this tick remover pen, you can effortlessly remove even the most deeply embedded tick in its entirety, including head and legs. Afterwards, disinfect the wound with alcohol.

Note the date of the tick bite and the bite location in your diary. If the tick has been on your body for more than eight hours, contact your doctor immediately.

Instructions for use
1. Grasp the Tick-Remover pen with your thumb and middle finger and press the back part of the tongs with your index finger; the gripper will now open. 2. Carefully place the gripper of the pen over the tick – as close to the skin as possible – and then let the gripper close. 3. Then, with a few gentle tugs, pull the tick straight out of the skin. 4. Disinfect the bite site and note the date of the bite in your diary. 5. If you experience discomfort at the bite site or see a red ring on your skin, always contact your doctor.
