Are you looking for the best protection against mosquitoes and ticks? Prevent itchy red bumps or threatening diseases (transmitted by insects) and spray your skin with Care Plus® DEET 40%. DEET is the strongest insect repellent for the skin and suitable for all destinations, both far away and closer to home. Whether you're at home in the garden, going on a day trip in your own country, or visiting a tropical holiday resort. Care Plus® DEET is effective against common mosquitoes (Culex species) and mosquitoes that can cause malaria (Anopheles species) and yellow fever (Aedes species). Care Plus® DEET is also effective against ticks (Ixodes species) that can cause Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis (meningitis). DEET is recommended for destinations with a risk of malaria and yellow fever. Care Plus® DEET 40% protects for up to 8 hours against mosquitoes and up to 4 hours against ticks. The spray is suitable for children from 13 years of age and adults.

Legal usage instructions
Use Anti-Insect DEET 40% to rub onto uncovered skin. Spray the mosquito repellent on the skin and spread it with the palm of your hand.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Composition
N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET) 38.8% w/w (CAS 134-62-3), Ethanol 60.0% w/w (CAS 64-17-5).

Dosage/usage
Spray a small amount on your fingertips and spread it over your face. Wash your hands and then spray the back of your hands. Always keep your fingers free when consuming food or drinks. Ensure that DEET does not come into contact with damaged skin (wounds, sunburn), eyes, nostrils, mouth, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not apply the mosquito repellent under clothing or on areas where the skin bends a lot, such as the back of the knees. We advise vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and children under 13 years of age not to use DEET.

Ensure that the Anti-Insect Deet 40% spray does not come into contact with damaged skin (wounds, sunburn), eyes, nose, nostrils, mouth, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not apply the mosquito repellent under clothing or on areas where the skin bends a lot, such as the elbow and knee creases. For children, avoid using Anti-Insect Deet 40% spray on areas that can easily come into contact with the eyes and mouth, such as the hands and forearms.
Do not use this product during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or for children under 13 years of age. If protection is no longer needed or side effects occur, wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water. Do not apply the product directly from the packaging to the face. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If feeling unwell, consult a doctor immediately and show the label if possible. Keep this product away from ignition sources, food and drinks, and animal feed. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C or in small, poorly ventilated areas. Close the packaging properly after use. Dispose of residues with small chemical waste.
