Use
The MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge must be activated by allowing the jug to filter twice. Afterward, discard this water or use it to water your plants. After filling the jug for the third time, the MAXTRA PRO filter cartridge is ready for use, and you can enjoy cleaner, fresher-tasting BRITA filtered water. If carbon particles are released, rinse the funnel and reinsert the filter cartridge.
