Usage
Japanese green infusion teas are prepared by steeping the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. The amount of tea and water used, as well as the water temperature and steeping time, vary depending on the tea you choose. It's important to choose soft (lightly mineralized) water and to pay attention to the water temperature. If you choose a higher temperature, the tea will taste extra bitter, unless you prefer.

For an ultimate and extensive taste experience, a second (or even third) infusion is also an option. During the first infusion, the rolled tea leaves gradually open and release their first flavors. During a second infusion, they are already open and release their other flavors. To achieve this, the same amount of water at approximately the same temperature is added to the already infused (and drained/decanted) tea leaves. Depending on personal preference, you can choose either the same or a slightly shorter infusion time. Let your personal taste and preference guide you and experiment to your heart's content with this green gold!
