Use
Japanese green infusion teas are prepared by infusing the processed whole tea leaves in hot water. The amount of tea and water used, as well as the water temperature and infusion time, vary depending on the tea you choose. It is important to choose soft (lightly mineralized) water and to observe the water temperature. If you choose a higher temperature, the tea will taste extra bitter, unless that is what you desire, of course. For an ultimate and comprehensive taste experience, a second (and possibly third) infusion can also be chosen. During the first infusion, the rolled tea leaves gradually open and release the first flavours. In a second infusion, they are already open and release their other flavours. For this, the same amount of water at approximately the same temperature is added to the already infused (and drained/decanted) tea leaves. Depending on personal preference, either the same or a slightly shorter infusion time can be chosen. Let yourself be guided by personal taste and preference and experiment fully with this green gold!
