Biobrush Children's Toothbrush Green What does 'BIO' stand for?
The bio-plastic of our “biobrush” is made from waste from the wood processing industry.
More than 50 million toothbrushes end up in landfills every year. That's a huge pile of unnecessary pollution. BioBrush is virtually 100% compostable. Plus, they look fantastic. This is the only brush with bristles that match the handle color (worldwide patent).
And all of this is no more expensive than any other good quality brush.
Compound This bio-based toothbrush and its packaging contain only minimal fossil fuels. Cellulose from wood-processing industry waste is used for the bioplastic and packaging film. Natural plasticizers (citric acid) are also used in the bioplastic. The brushes are BPA-free.
The pigments that create the vibrant colors are free of heavy metals. Castor oil forms the basis for the nylon bristles. Nylon is unfortunately not biodegradable, but according to independent dentists, it's still the best hygienic material for toothbrushes. The bristles are medium-soft. Because the toothbrush contains almost no fossil fuels, it burns almost CO2-neutrally at the end of its life. The bioplastic of the toothbrush is biodegradable (DIN EN ISO 14855), and the packaging is even compostable. The toothbrush is made in Germany.
Usage You will get the easiest and most beneficial effect when you use circular movements and brush from the gums towards the tooth.
It's sometimes thought that scrubbing your teeth vigorously is the best way to care for your teeth. Nothing could be further from the truth! Brushing too hard damages your gums and enamel. And it's precisely enamel that protects your teeth from cavities. Once worn away, it won't grow back.
