Bepanthen Protective Ointment is an intensively moisturizing ointment that forms a protective layer on the skin without closing it off. Dexpanthenol supports the skin's natural healing process. This helps Bepanthen Protective Ointment maintain its natural strength and balance. The unique combination of ingredients such as lanolin, almond oil, and glycerin protects the skin from drying out and provides intensive care.
For adults and children ages 10 and up. Bepanthen Ointment can also be used as a delicious body butter.
Why an ointment? Ointment (dry skin ointment) vs. Cream (dry skin cream). An ointment consists mainly of fat. After application, a fatty layer remains on your skin that usually lasts for a while. Besides providing intensive care, an ointment also protects your skin from external influences. Creams contain more water and don't form a film. That's why we recommend an ointment instead of a cream for (very) dry, chapped, or rough skin.
Bepanthen contains dexpanthenol. This substance has the well-known property of supporting skin recovery.
- Nourishes and protects dry and vulnerable skin - Supports natural skin recovery - Free from perfume, colourings and preservatives - Responsible aftercare for tattoos
Usage For dry, rough, very dry skin: apply to the skin several times a day as needed.
For very dry skin areas prone to irritation from external influences: apply several times a day as needed. Regular use creates a protective layer on the skin.
For skin aftercare: Apply several times daily to the affected areas of the skin.
General: When using on feet, allow to absorb thoroughly and do not walk barefoot due to the risk of slipping.
For red baby bottoms: apply to the delicate baby skin at every diaper change for care and protection.
Daily use helps to restore the skin of red buttocks.
Nipple care and softening: apply after each feeding during breastfeeding. Before feeding, wipe off any excess ointment residue, but it is not necessary to wash the nipples beforehand.
For responsible aftercare of the skin: apply several times a day to the affected areas of the skin.
Your skin recovers best at night. Therefore, apply Protective Ointment to your heels, cracks, or dry patches on your feet before bed. This allows it to absorb properly. You can also wear socks to prevent the ointment from transferring to your bedding. Avoid walking barefoot due to the risk of slipping.
Dry hands: Do you suffer from very dry, cracked, or chapped hands (working hands)? Your skin heals best at night. Therefore, apply an extra thick layer of Protective Ointment to your hands before bed.
Storage advice Do not store above 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
