Bepanthen Eczema Cream relieves itching and redness in mild to moderate eczema.

It is important to break the vicious cycle of itching and scratching in eczema or an allergic reaction. Bepanthen Eczema Cream effectively relieves itching and redness in mild to moderate eczema (e.g. in atopic eczema). It starts relieving itching within 30 minutes. In addition, Bepanthen Eczema Cream supports skin repair* in case of skin irritation, such as eczema or an allergic reaction. It can also be used as an anti-itch cream for skin irritations caused by the oak processionary caterpillar or other caterpillars, sun allergy, heat rash, and insect bites. Moisture-regulating substances such as glycerin hydrate the skin and the special lamellar-lipid technology restores the skin barrier between eczema outbreaks in eczema-prone and dry skin.

Eczema Cream vs Eczema Ointment

In some cases, the eczema spot does not respond well to the cream and needs a greasier ointment. This happens with the very dry variant of eczema. A true outbreak of eczema is best treated with a hormone ointment (which is prescribed by your doctor).
