Interactions and contraindications:
According to medical advice, if the RDA is exceeded by several or more doses, or if taking amphetamines and cyclic antidepressants, oxalic acid-based bladder stones, impaired kidney function, or long-term dialysis. Possible side effects: restlessness, insomnia, diarrhea, etc., if more than 1 g is taken in cumulative doses. Hypervitaminosis C does not exist; excess amounts are excreted in the feces.
