Bausch & Lomb Biotrue multi-purpose

Bausch & Lomb Biotrue multi-purpose
-

What is this medicine used for?
Daily use of Biotrue® multi-purpose solution cleans and removes build-up of oil, protein and other deposits and dirt from soft contact lenses.
Destroys harmful microorganisms on the lens. Biotrue® multi-purpose solution helps prevent the formation of residue on the lens surface.
It kills harmful microorganisms on the lens.
During storage, the contact lens solution coats the lens with a moist layer, allowing the lens to be worn comfortably during the day.
Biotrue® multi-purpose solution can also be used to rinse lenses.

Directions for use
Follow these 3 simple steps to care for, clean, disinfect, and remove protein from your lenses daily.
This daily contact lens care is recommended by Bausch + Lomb for healthy and comfortable contact lens wear:
Step 1:
Apply 3 drops of Biotrue® multi-purpose solution to each side of the lens and gently wipe each side for 20 seconds.
Step 2:
Rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with Biotrue® multi-purpose solution.
Step 3:
Place the cleaned contact lens in the lens holder and fill it with fresh Biotrue® multi-purpose solution.
Leave the lenses in the solution for at least 4 hours.
Always make sure you use fresh lens solution.
Your contact lenses are now ready to use.
If there is still dirt on the contact lenses, rinse them with Biotrue® multi-purpose solution before inserting the lenses.
Always follow the advice of your contact lens specialist.
Based on the composition of your tear fluid and wearing schedule, your contact lens specialist may recommend additional products or
recommend procedures.
If you are not inserting your contact lenses immediately, store them in a closed lens case.
Do not store your lenses in saline solution instead of Biotrue® multi-purpose solution.
A saline solution has no disinfectant effect.
You can store your lenses in a closed lens case for up to 30 days.
If you wish to store your lenses for an extended period of time, you should clean and disinfect them again with fresh Biotrue® multi-purpose solution before use.

Warnings
Problems with contact lenses and lens care products can lead to eye infections and/or damage to the cornea and even loss of vision.
It is essential that you carefully follow the instructions for caring for your lenses and lens products provided by your contact lens specialist and on the product and lens case inserts.
Eye diseases, including corneal inflammation, develop rapidly and can lead to vision loss.
Daily wear contact lenses (daytime wear only) are not suitable for overnight wear and should therefore not be worn while sleeping.
Contact lens wearers are advised to visit their contact lens specialist at least twice a year.
Every time you store your lenses in the lens case, you should fill it with fresh solution; never top up the solution or reuse the old solution.
You should throw away the old solution immediately after removing your lenses from the lens case.
You should never treat your lenses with water or store them in a lens case that has been rinsed with water, even tap water.
bottled or distilled water or other non-sterile liquid.
Always clean, rinse, and air dry your lens case when removing your lenses from the case.
Let the lens holder air dry upside down so that excess fluid can drain away.
Replace your lens holder regularly.
Failure to discard the solution from the lens case after each use or to use water when caring for your lenses can lead to eye infections and possible loss of vision.
See the enclosed leaflet for important additional safety information.

Side effects
