The Cedar is an evergreen mighty tree with a pyramidal crown belonging to the pine family, Pinaceae. Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of wood chips from the Atlas Cedar, which grows in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It is an oil with a woody, warm-sweet scent.

Properties
Cedarwood has an antiseptic, purifying, soothing, expectorant effect. It increases resistance to unfavorable fungi and bacteria. And it calms and deepens breathing.
Cedarwood oil can be used for: anxiety, acne, respiratory problems, despondency, oily skin, dandruff, hair loss, exhaustion, tension, stress, nervousness.
Cedar is never eaten by insects, making it a good insect repellent.
It is a strongly grounding oil with a softening, calming and purifying effect in transitional situations.

Usage
Add a few drops to your carrier oil, massage oil or basic cream.
For diffusion, add 6-10 drops to 200 ml of water and place in a diffuser or aroma burner.
