Red yeast rice originates from China. It is formed by the fermentation of rice, a process supported by the yeast species Monascus Purpureus. This fermentation process produces monacolin K. Red yeast rice contains beneficial and important substances such as isoflavones and sterols.

Q10 is produced by our own body and is found, among other places, in the thyroid gland, heart, liver, and kidneys. Q10 plays an important role in our body's energy production and is also a significant antioxidant.
