Red yeast rice originates from China. It is produced through the fermentation of rice, a process supported by the yeast species Monascus purpureus. This fermentation process produces monacolin K. Red yeast rice contains beneficial and important substances such as isoflavones and sterols.

Q10 is produced naturally by our bodies and is found in the thyroid gland, heart, liver, and kidneys, among other places. Q10 plays a key role in our body's energy production and is also an important antioxidant.
