Ester-C is a buffered (deacidified) form of vitamin C that is much gentler on the intestines and stomach lining. Ester-C, calcium L-ascorbate, has a neutral pH, making it well-tolerated by many people. It is bound to calcium, which causes it to lose its acidic form. Ester-C is also a more potent form of vitamin C than, for example, ascorbic acid. It is absorbed twice as fast as regular vitamin C and also remains in the body's tissues twice as long. This form of vitamin C is therefore much more efficient!

Ester-C:
- activates the natural energy in the body and helps with fatigue;
- promotes resistance during and after physical exertion;
- supports the nervous system and contributes to brain and nerve functions involved in concentration and memory;
- contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, cartilage, skin and gums;
- promotes the absorption of iron, helps maintain the activity of vitamin E.
