Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) are native to North America. In the Netherlands, cranberries are also known as "veenbessen". Cranberries grow, among other places, on the Dutch Wadden Islands. Cranberry is traditionally used to support the urinary tract. Cranberry naturally contains proanthocyanidins (PACs) and also bioflavonoids, organic acids, and vitamin C. This supplement contains a cranberry extract with 10.4% PACs. D-mannose is often used as a supplement to cranberry supplements.
