AOSEPT PLUS contact lens care system with HydraGlyde* Moisture Matrix for cleaning, disinfecting, neutralizing, protein removal, and storage of all types of contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel lenses.

Use
AOSEPT PLUS contact lens care system with HydraGlyde* Moisture Matrix for cleaning, disinfecting, neutralizing, protein removal, and storage of all types of contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel lenses. The AOSEPT PLUS system consists of: AOSEPT PLUS cleaning and disinfecting solution with HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix (see image 1) and the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup (see image 2). The AOSEPT PLUS lens cup consists of a transparent cup and a connected unit with a screw cap, lens holders (baskets), and the AODISC^ neutralizing catalyst attached to the bottom. Ensure that the AODISC is attached before use as it is essential for the neutralization of hydrogen peroxide. AOSEPT PLUS solution and the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup must always be used together.

Instructions for use
1. Wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel.2. Open the lens holder marked “L” and place your left lens on the dome. Close the lens holder; ensure the lens does not get pinched.3. Repeat this procedure with your right lens; place it on the dome of the other lens holder marked “R”.4. Open the cap of the AOSEPT PLUS bottle and bend it back and out of the way.5. Rinse the lenses thoroughly in the lens holders with AOSEPT PLUS for 5 seconds (see image 3).6. Fill the cup with AOSEPT PLUS solution to the fill line. DO NOT OVERFILL OR UNDERFILL (see image 4).7. Place the lens holder in the AOSEPT PLUS cup and twist the lid tightly. Do not shake the cup.8. Place the lens cup upright (see image 5).- If bubbles appear from the opening at the top of the lens cup lid, there may still be unneutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution present. Discard the solution from the lens cup and remove any spilled residue from the surface where the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup was placed. Rinse the AOSEPT PLUS cup and lens holder thoroughly with sterile saline solution. If you have spilled, clean it up immediately with a paper towel. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your lenses or your eyes. REPEAT THE DISINFECTION PROCEDURE ABOVE.9. Leave the lenses immersed for at least 6 hours (see image 6) or overnight to neutralize the solution.10. Remove your lenses from the lens holder.11. Your lenses are now ready for use.12. Discard the used solution, rinse the AOSEPT PLUS cup and lens holder with sterile saline solution – DO NOT USE TAP WATER OR NON-STERILE WATER.13. Air dry both by inverting the lens holder next to the cup (see image 7).14. If you do not plan to insert the lenses immediately after disinfection/neutralization, you can store them in the neutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution, in the unopened AOSEPT PLUS lens cup for up to 14 days. After this period, you must clean and disinfect your lenses with AOSEPT PLUS before wearing them.If recommended by your contact lens specialist:- Rinse the lenses with a sterile saline solution before insertion.

Warnings
Never attempt to clean or rinse lenses in your hands with AOSEPT PLUS solution. A slight, temporary discoloration of the skin (whitening) may occur after contact with the unneutralized solution.
• Never attempt to clean lenses with a separate cleaning solution, as any residue thereof will cause the solution in the lens cup to foam and overflow from the lens cup.
• Meaning of the red closure cap: Never apply unneutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution directly into the eye.
• Use only the enclosed AOSEPT PLUS lens cup. Do not use any other lens cup.
• Ensure that your lenses are immersed for at least 6 hours in the provided lens cup (neutralization process) before insertion. Unneutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution is an extremely effective disinfectant that will cause a burning sensation if it comes into contact with the eye. If you accidentally insert an unneutralized lens into the eye, remove it immediately and rinse the affected eye abundantly with sterile water or saline solution. Disinfect the lens again before insertion.
• Always use fresh AOSEPT PLUS solution – never reuse the solution in the lens cup as its efficacy will be compromised.
• Never transfer AOSEPT PLUS to another bottle.
• Never dilute or mix AOSEPT PLUS with any other solution as this will compromise its effectiveness.
• Never bring contact lenses into contact with non-sterile liquids (including tap water and saliva) as microbial contamination can occur, which can lead to permanent eye damage.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If unneutralized AOSEPT^ PLUS solution has been swallowed, drink large quantities of water immediately and consult your doctor.
• Consult your doctor or contact lens specialist before using any medication in combination with contact lenses.

Storage advice
- Do not use after the expiry date.- Once the bottle is open, the remaining solution must be discarded after 3 months.- Store below 25°C.- Always use AOSEPT^ PLUS solution between 15°C and 25°C as neutralization below 15°C may take longer than 6 hours.- Do not place in direct sunlight.
