What is this medicine used for?
AOSEPT PLUS contact lens care system with HydraGlyde* Moisture Matrix for cleaning, disinfecting, neutralizing, removing proteins, and storing all types of contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel lenses.
The AOSEPT PLUS system consists of: AOSEPT PLUS cleaning and disinfecting solution with HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix (see Figure 1) and the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup (see Figure 2). The AOSEPT PLUS lens cup consists of a clear cup and a sealed unit with a screw cap, lens holders (baskets), and the AODISC® neutralizing catalyst attached to the bottom. Ensure the AODISC® is attached before use, as it is essential for neutralizing the hydrogen peroxide. AOSEPT PLUS solution and the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup must always be used together.

Directions for use
1. Wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel.
2. Open the lens holder marked "L" and place your left lens on the dome. Close the lens holder, being careful not to pinch the lens.
3. Repeat this procedure with your right lens, placing it on the dome of the other lens holder marked “R”.
4. Open the closure cap of the AOSEPT PLUS bottle and bend it back and out of the way.
5. Rinse the lenses thoroughly in the lens holders with AOSEPT PLUS for 5 seconds (see figure 3).
6. Fill the cup with AOSEPT PLUS solution up to the fill line. NEVER TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE (see Figure 4).
7. Place the lens holder in the AOSEPT PLUS cup and tighten the lid. Do not shake the cup.
8. Place the lens cup upright (see figure 5).
If bubbles appear from the opening at the top of the lens cup lid, there may be unneutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution present. Discard the solution from the lens cup and remove any spilled material from the surface where the AOSEPT PLUS lens cup rested. Rinse the AOSEPT PLUS cup and lens case thoroughly with sterile saline. Wipe up any spills immediately with a paper towel. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your lenses or your eyes.
REPEAT THE ABOVE DISINFECTION PROCEDURE.
9. Leave the lenses immersed for at least 6 hours (see Figure 6) or overnight to neutralize the solution.
10. Remove your lenses from the lens holder.
11. Your lenses are now ready to use.
12. Discard the used solution, rinse the AOSEPT PLUS cup and lens holder with sterile saline – DO NOT USE TAP WATER OR NON-STERILE WATER.
13. Let both air dry by inverting the lens holder next to the cup (see image 7).

14. If you do not plan to wear your lenses immediately after disinfection/neutralization, you can store them in the neutralized AOSEPT PLUS solution in the unopened AOSEPT PLUS lens cup for up to 14 days. After this period, you must clean and disinfect your lenses with AOSEPT PLUS before wearing them.

If recommended by your contact lens practitioner:
- Rinse the lenses with sterile saline solution before inserting them

Contraindications
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Never use AOSEPT PLUS for heat disinfection.

Ingredients
The preservative-free, aqueous AOSEPT PLUS solution with HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix contains: Hydrogen peroxide 3% Phosphonic acid (stabilizer) Sodium chloride Phosphate (buffer system) Poloxamer (surface cleaner) HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix (EOBO-21* - polyoxyethylene-polyoxybutylene). polyoxyethylene-polyoxybutylene)

Warnings
Never try to clean or rinse your lenses with Aosept Plus solution in your hands. Mild, temporary skin discoloration (whitening) may occur after contact with the unneutralized solution.
• Never attempt to clean the lenses with a separate cleaning fluid, as any residue will cause the fluid in the lens cup to foam and overflow from the lens cup.
• Meaning of the Red Closure Cap: Never inject unneutralized Aosept Plus Solution directly into the eye.
• Use only the enclosed Aosept Plus lens cup. Do not use any other lens cup.
• Please ensure that your lenses are immersed in the supplied lens cup for at least 6 hours (Neutralisation Process) before inserting them. Non-neutralised Aosept Plus solution is a highly efficient disinfectant and will cause a burning sensation if it comes into contact with the eye. If you accidentally insert a non-neutralised lens into your eye, remove it immediately and rinse the opened eye thoroughly with sterile water or saline solution. Disinfect the lens again before inserting it.
•Always use fresh Aosept Plus solution – never reuse the solution in the lens cup as this will negate its effectiveness.
• Never transfer Aosept Plus into another bottle.
• Never dilute or mix Aosept Plus with any solution as this will negate its effectiveness.
• Never bring contact lenses into contact with non-sterile fluids (including tap water and saliva) as microbial contamination may occur which could lead to permanent eye damage.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If unneutralised Aosept^ Plus Solution is swallowed, immediately drink large amounts of water and consult your doctor.

Use in combination with contact lenses

Side effects
If discomfort or irritation persists, remove your lenses, discontinue use of the product, and consult your eye care professional.

Storage advice
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Once the bottle is opened, any remaining liquid should be discarded after 3 months.
- Store below 25°C.
- Always use AOSEPT^ PLUS liquid between 15°C and 25°C because neutralisation below 15°C may take longer than 6 hours.
- Do not place in direct sunlight.

Other information
- Do not use after the expiry date.
Check the seal before first use. If already broken, do not use.
- Close the bottle cap after use.
- Once the bottle is opened, any remaining liquid should be discarded after 3 months.
- Never allow the pipette tip of the bottle to touch any surface as this may contaminate the liquid.
- Always use the new AOSEPT^ PLUS lens cup that comes with each bottle of AOSEPT PLUS solution.
- Store below 25°C.
- Always use AOSEPT^ PLUS liquid between 15°C and 25°C because neutralisation below 15°C may take longer than 6 hours.
- Do not place in direct sunlight.
- Consult your contact lens practitioner before changing solution.
