This is caused by the enormous sound level of wind noise under the helmet. At a speed of 120 km/h, the volume of wind noise averages 98 dB. Alpine MotoSafe® earplugs are made of durable and flexible AlpineThermoShape™ material. The ear's warmth causes the soft material to conform to the ear canal for an ideal fit. Combined with the soft filters, this ensures the earplugs fit perfectly under a helmet. AlpineThermoShape™ material is silicone-free, so the earplugs don't sweat, itch, or irritate. They can be worn comfortably all day long.
The earplugs come standard with a handy storage pouch. This pouch can be easily attached to a key ring or kept in your pocket, so you always have your earplugs at hand.
All Alpine products have been officially tested by independent inspection bodies and bear the CE mark.
