Alfytal Vitamin D3-1000
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that we ingest through food, but is also produced in the skin under the influence of sunlight. Supplementation is recommended for people with limited sunlight exposure.
Because vitamin D is fat-soluble, Alfytal D-1000 consists of an oil-filled capsule for maximum effectiveness.
This supplement contains the highest possible daily dose (25 µg) permitted in the Netherlands, however the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) uses 100 µg as a safe maximum daily dose.
Not suitable for vegetarians.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus
