Alfytal Omega-fish 1000 pure, unadulterated Omega-Fish 1000 is a pure, unprocessed form of fish oil that is an important source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-Fish 1000 contains natural triglycerides (TG) and not the artificially derived ethyl esters often found in fish oil products with an elevated omega-3 fatty acid content. These ethyl esters are foreign to the body and must first be converted back into usable triglycerides, or free fatty acids. A small amount of vitamin E has been added as an antioxidant. When consuming large amounts of fatty fish and fish oil, it is recommended to use an antioxidant formula such as Oxi-Protector (Medium). Polyunsaturated fatty acids tend to oxidize rapidly (become rancid). This can negate the health benefits of fish oil.
The Label Reference Intake Value for omega-3 fatty acids EPA/DHA proposed by the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) is 250 mg.

Usage Take 1 to 3 softgels daily with a meal, unless otherwise directed. Belching can usually be prevented by taking the fish oil with a meal, so that it is absorbed by the food. Never take with lukewarm or warm liquids. Store in a cool, dry place.
