A3 books The Inn With this retreat book, you give yourself the time and space for forty days to write and focus inward, reflecting on what is currently calling for your attention. Rumi's famous poem "The Inn" serves as our inspiration. In this retreat book, you'll write playfully and contemplatively about your role as an innkeeper and about the guests who knock on your inn's door. Some guests you can immediately welcome with joy in your heart and offer a generous place in your inn. But there are also guests you'd rather not meet, let alone welcome. The form in which guests appear is unique for every innkeeper. It can take the form of a person, a memory, a feeling or event, an image, or a thought. It requires willingness and effort to accommodate everything and everyone, excluding nothing and no one. When we do this despite everything, we will experience the liberation of welcoming every guest who knocks without judgment.
